Baltimore Marathon LogoTraining programs for The Baltimore Marathon & Half Marathon were developed by Mary Kay Mullally and is broken down into base building, sharpening and tapering. Most of us ‘intermediates’ should have already established a weekly base between 25 to 30 miles with the 10-mile Saturday long run and will pick up in week 16 of the 18-week program starting Monday June 27. Training pace is crutial for this program to work. Your training pace is determined by your goal marathon pace. Please refer to the Pace Chart.
